BIOTALENT was invited to join the 15th Science Projects Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab (SPW@FCL), organized by Scientix and Amgen Teach.
The workshop took place in Brussels, Belgium, in June 2017, from Friday 23 June to Sunday 25 June.
The Future Classroom Lab (FCL), an independent project of European Schoolnet (EUN) and based at the office of EUN in Brussels, Belgium, provides a platform where policy-makers can rethink their ICT strategies and where teachers, head teachers and ICT advisers can experiment with innovative pedagogical approaches within flexible learning environments.
Science events in the FCL are organised under the umbrella name of “Science Projects Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab”. These events aim at both training teachers in the use of technologies in the classroom in association with materials and pedagogies from projects and encourage science projects to work together instead of in isolation.
The following guest STEM projects were involved in this workshop:
• BIOTALENT - Tackling biodiversity challenges through innovative e-learning
• EDU-ARTIC
• ICE Cubes Services - Educational Projects - Inspiration for STEM by sending your experiment to space
• OpenSKIMR
The workshop was attended by 60 participants, out of which there were 45 teachers from 17 different countries.
